Panasonic GH2 Photokina launch confirmed
The doors to the Photokina 2010 halls may officially be closed but Pocket-lint can already bring you news that the Panasonic Lumix GH2 camera is arriving in Cologne.
43rumours.com managed to grab some marketing shots of the 18-megapixels multiscale sensor Micro Four Thirds successor to the Panasonic GH1 over the weekend but confirmation has just arrived in the unlikely form of the poster campaign being constructed outside of the Messe trade centre as we speak.
The picture doesn't add anything new in terms of specs but a 100-12.800 ISO, 1080i 60 24Mbit/s AVCHD video recording, and high-speed burst shooting of 5 fps with 16 MP unit are all expected. There also should be touchscreen LCD.
The real source of excitement is over whether or not there'll be a 3D lens accessory as well and we'll bring you the facts on that one as soon as we know.
