2007-2010 Audi A3 ProClip Angled Mount
Do not attach anything to the mount until after attaching the mount to the dashboard. Doing so makes it more difficult to attach the mount to the dash. Please note: If you screw into the mount it will be considered used and therefore non-refundable. The ProClip mount and/or holder in the installation pictures may look slightly different from the one you have received.
This ProClip consists of two parts. Part 1 - ProClip attaching part (the smallest part) and Part 2 - ProClip face plate. Press the thin end of the enclosed gap opener into the gap between the frame surrounding the stereo and the dashboard, to widen the gap.
Peel off the adhesive tape cover on Part 1. Press the angled edge on Part 1 into the gap above the gap opener. Press Part 1 forward/rightward so the angled edge goes all the way into the gap and the adhesive tape attaches to the dashboard. Pull out the gap opener.
Open up the predrilled holes in Part 2 with a screwdriver (Philips). Peel off the adhesive tape cover on Part 2. Place Part 2 onto Part 1 so the adhesive tape is to the left and the holes match. Attach Part 2 onto Part 1 with the enclosed screws. Screw straight into Part 1, in the same angle as Part 1. The ProClip is in now place as shown in the overview picture above.
